How to Find Us.
From the A64: almost everyone visiting Scarborough
from the south will come into the town on the A64. Approximately two
miles after the
small village of Staxton (with a Little Chef and Esso garage on your
right) you will come to a small roundabout. (This junction once featured
on Coronation Street when Sally Webster visited her Mother here!)
Take the first exit; the only other exit takes you further along
the A64 into Scarborough. This is signposted Seamer, Ayton and A170.
After another mile you will enter the village of Seamer. Continue
past the garage on your right and The Mayfield Hotel will be on your
right with ample parking in front of the hotel.
From the A170: if you
are travelling from the north of England you are likely to be driving
towards Scarborough on the A170. In the village
of East Ayton turn right at the roundabout next to the old village
church. Follow the road to the next roundabout and turn right here.
As you enter Seamer The Mayfield Hotel is on your left.
From
Scarborough: follow the A64 until the large roundabout just
after Dean’s
Garden Centre on your right. Take the third exit. Turn right at the
next roundabout and left at the
following one. As you
enter Seamer The Mayfield Hotel is on your left.
